Quite a few of you have been kind enough to email me about this - thank you!
Gmail has started it’s global roll out of updates, that includes a complete UI rewrite (at least behind the scenes); completely flumoxing GTDInbox. In fairness to Google, they gave due notice on this; but not the exact date it would happen… so I’ve been caught with my pants down, figuratively speaking.
At the moment, if you want to continue to use GTDInbox, you can switch Gmail back to it’s Old Version, at which point it’ll work again.
I’ll be taking the tail end of this week to tackle the first release of version 2, which will of course work with the new Gmail.
Developments, announcements and early versions will be available on this blog - so you can subscribe on the right hand side (where, incidently, you can also donate
).
Let’s get cracking!

OK. So this is probably why my GTDInbox extension is no longer working and I am twitching. Gah! Shocked at how dependent I had become.

Hmmmm, it’s still working fine for me! This is scary, because i am pretty dependent on it. If it stops working for me, how can I switch to the old version of Gmail?

@Amy (and @Sydney if you’ve not already done it) - fear not! You can switch Gmail back at any time. When it updates, there will be an option in the top right (near Settings) that says “Older Version”. This will keep you running until v2 arrives (soon!).

Wow! I am also impressed at how dependent I have become!
The old version is not giving me the green labels on the front page anymore but at least the labels are there when I click through.
Thanks for working so hard to keep up with gmail.
Donation on its way!
