You’ll notice I craftily avoided the incremental numbers problem there
That doesn’t mean 18 more releases before 2.0 (I hope!); but it does take some pressure off.
Ok, this is the release 1.98 shoudl have been - i.e. much tidied up.
Please let me know of any bugs you find - or any polish you think it needs - over at the forum, http://forum.productivefirefox.com

Update 2/2/08
As Todd discovered, you may need to refresh (F5) the changelog page to see the latest release!

Doesn’t this link to 1.98 and not 1.981?

In any case, I get the same results which is none…

OK. Now it links to 1.981 but nothing happens when I install it. The options button is grayed out in the add-ons list and I can’t access any options. There is no visible change to gmail after installation…

For the record Todd, there are no Options for GTDInbox, so it will always be greyed out.
It sounds like you have a different version of Gmail, and that’s causing GTDInbox to fail during integration.
Is there any chance you can send me a screenshot? (blur out the messages if you like). I take it you don’t use any other Firefox extensions?
Actually, it would be best - if you haven’t already - to create a new topic on the Bugs board at the forum (http://forum.productivefirefox.com).
Thanks,
Andy

I get exactly the same results that Todd explain.
I don’t see GTD About at left, nor GTDInbox label on Tools menu and no litle GTD at rigth hand on conversations view.
Firefox 2.0.0.11
But I love GTDInbox, thanks Andy!

For the record, I am using the current version of gmail. I finally got gtd inbox to work, but only by creating a new profile and adding it then…

Hello,
Dunno where to post this.
I use GTDInbox, moved to v1.981.
I have the habit of sending me action with only a title, no body.
TOnight I started getting the alert:
thread getBodyLabels, Type error: body has no properties.
It’s a bit ruining my gmail ^^
Anyways, thanks for the work.

@Loic - the forum is normally a good start
I’ve created a thread for it (http://forum.productivefirefox.com/index.php?topic=132.0), it sounds like a new bug so thanks for that.

* When I first started using it there was a “Page 1/3″ on the opening page. After clicking “next” it went away, which was confusing. And on the second page there was no way to cancel, only “update labels”. It all basically worked though.
* “Getting Started” link goes to a dead page.
Interface reactions:
* Seems very unintuitive to click on “labels” to find the “finished” button. But I’ll get used to it
* In general the “dashboard” and “label” panels seem to take up a LOT of space, more than they should. Guess I’ll start deleting some reference labels

Hi Glade, thanks for the feedback
The opening page will be streamlined to be a bit more obvious before the 2.0 release; ‘Getting Started’ and other web links are not currently working until the new site goes live; the Finished button has (just) been moved!
Regarding the space-consumption of the dashboard and label panels; did you know you can nest labels into a collapsable hierarchy? e.g. P/GTDInbox/Bugs would be P->GTDInbox->Bugs. That helps save some space. And, around the release of 2.1, the UI issues will be properly addressed, and some horizontal layouts will be experimented with.

Oooh nesting labels, I like it.
You may know this already, but if you go to “edit labels” and start playing around with names, the “labels” left side panel goes all bananas. To fix them I have to refresh the page.

One other item:
If I have an item marked “Action” and I open the label panel and click “Waiting On”, the “Action” label gets removed but the “Waiting On” label does not get added. I have to click “Waiting on” a second time for it to stick.
