(Apologies to forum users, you’ve already got this update… nothing new just yet!).
Please find the (slightly overdue) patch to make GTDInbox work with Firefox 3 RC1 (and all later updates to Firefox 3). Huge plaudits to Sean Buscay (who saved me many hours) and Captbunzo for getting a patch out faster than me; I essentially rolled their work into this one.
I also made it install better for new users, as this version will be going up on Mozilla (who recently have been extending a warm hand our way, I’m pleased to report!). Specifically, when you install it will successfully add Status labels and get itself running at 100%; and if you ever delete your Status labels; you can click an ‘Install’ button in the Edit Labels screen.
I’m still officially ‘underground’ but if anyone has urgent requests, don’t hesitate to email me (I know some of you have been doing). GTDInbox 2.1 is still pushing forward and I’m loving it; but it’s such a big update that it’s going to need some polish.
You can download from http://gtdinbox.com/#install or download direct from (http://gtdinbox.com/gtdinbox_2-0-8-2.xpi).
All the best,
Andy

Thank you Andy.
The credit really goes to you for making this great app.
It has been the best GTD System I have found, and I have reviewed a lot.
Best Regards,
Sean Buscay

Thank you! I did not switch to FF3 RC1 because I could not use GTDInbox and now I can

The whole GTD philosophy takes a bit more organization than I’ve got in me, but I was dying without GTDInbox to help organize my labels in Gmail.
Keep up the great work!

I just found a problem, GTDInbox2.0.8.2 does’nt work well on Firefox 3.0 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; zh-CN; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0).
If i click a new letter, Gmail shows the message “Loading…” or “Still working…” for a long time and i can’t work any more. I’ve removed GTDInbox from my Gmail, this problem was solved.
Later i’ll report this to the forum:)

@mjjin,
was it consistent, as in every time? can you give me any more details about it?
has it totally stopped now you’ve dropped GTDInbox?

Andy, It was consistent as most of time, but not in every time (Sometimes GTDInbox works). I think it’s not Gmail server’s problem, because i can always access to My Gmail account and read emails with the basic HTML mode, also with the IE7.0. Since i dropped GTDInbox,it has totally stopped.
Now i’m at home, the problem is same as the PC in my office, i found this problem yesterday since i downloaded the Firefox3.0.
For a testing, I changed back to previous Firefox 2.0.0.14, GTDInbox works well as before.

@mjjin, can you keep watching Firefox 3 (without GTDInbox)? I know someone who is using Firefox 3 but isn’t using GTDInbox who cannot ‘Send’ a message unless they reload Gmail a few times in the browser. I’m not entirely sure GTDInbox is to blame here (although I’ll readily be proved wrong!).

Andy, this app is so good I plunked down a donation after using it for just one week. I started using the GTD system about a year ago. When I saw what you wrote for a gmail I thought I’d give it a try, and finally I am able to manage my email! The labeling function is great.
Thank you.

I know you’ve worked very hard on this app. Thank you. Any chance meetimer will be updated for FF 3.0?
