Grab GTDInbox 3.0 Alpha 3 by clicking the link. If prompted, tell it to open with Firefox. If you have any trouble, download it to your computer first, and use Firefox to click ‘File’ then ‘Open File’ and select the XPI you downloaded.
We’ve focused on stability here, so no UI changes; but it should be much more reliable (I realise I’m asking for trouble saying that!).
In addition to the stability, I concentrated on a key area of the Gmail API (local email management) that will pave the way for faster and more robust future features.
And speaking of those new features… that is the next phase. Next week we’ll be tweaking the UI and finally adding in Preferences (they’ve been a real pain so far).
We’ve got a really clear idea of the overall look & feel we’re now going for - a true ‘task manager’ within Gmail, and as streamlined as possible for handling incoming emails. I’m really looking forward to the next few weeks.
Keep up with little updates on GTDInbox’s Twitter page, and use the blog here for feedback.
Known Issues (as we couldn’t tackle some higher level stuff):
* If a new message arrives, it confuses the Preview popup
* There are some circumstances (like after clicking Archive to move next) where the Labelling Box doesn’t show in a Conversation
PS It’s a Bank Holiday here in the UK (as other places I expect), so I won’t be able to reply to any emails until Tuesday.

Just tried this and it tanked my GTDinbox setup completely - no labels, dashboard etc. GTDinbox is missing from setttings as well.
I rolled back to 2.0.11.6 and everything is OK. No labels or settings were lost AFAIK. I’m running FF 3.0.10.
Might be a conflict with another add-on I’m running, but if you have the same issue then you know you are not the first.

The Labels are loading correctly (Projects, Statuses etc) but nothing else seems to. Same as Alpha 2, but Alpha 1 worked fine!

On Vista Home Premium the interface is awful, the projects drop down doesn’t work, the status buttons are there, but no possibility of using references. OMG, I have to do stuff and this is just not working. there is no GTDinbox choice with settings.

Does not load at all, same as Alpha 1 & 2. Had to rollback to 2.1 alpha 6, that has sometimes problems (no label selector when inside a mail), but works however.
Settings:
XP Pro, FF 3.0.10 English, Gmail App with Am English settings, Offline enabled.
Thx for your work!!

I had similar problems.
I uninstalled GTD, restarted and re-installed version 3.
Now works correctly.

Alpha 3 seems to be working great. Would like to request a feature: I love the Archive/Finished buttons that have been added. However, we also need this strip at the bottom for long emails.

I’m sorry to hear it isn’t loading for some people - it sounds rather platform dependant; I’m going to start tracking it down and aim to address it for the next alpha.

As with other people - does not load - no sign of any features - no tab in settings etc
